He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harry Wargo and Annie Jewell Fogarty Shepard; his wife Sarah; his son Frank Martin Shepard (Leigh Anne); his grandchildren, Asa Martin and Eliza Anne; his son David Michael Shepard (Margaret); his grandchildren, Benjamin Robert (Emily) and Marie Elizabeth; his children, Elizabeth Tillson Shepard and Steven Goodale Shepard (Brenda); his grandchild Katrin Anna Jewell; and his sister Nancy Ann Shepard Osborne.
