He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline Baer of Vineyard Haven; his children, Justin Baer (Jean) of Silver Spring, Jon Baer of Vineyard Haven, Gretchen Baer of Bisbee, Ariz and Chris Baer (Janice) of Oak Bluffs; his siblings, John Baer of Annapolis and Rosemary Buetens of Orono, Maine; and his grandchildren, Kara, Alyssa, Christian and Jack. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
