She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Coleman Gibson; her children, Stevenson Newkirk, Elizabeth Newkirk, Jazmi Smith, Serena Clemons (Talmadge) and Vera Smith; her siblings, Roberto Lozada, Juan Lozada, Gregg Strozier (Ken), Chris Strozier and Shelia Santiago; and her parents, Ismael Santiago and Ella Santiago (Beam). She was also cherished by 17 grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
