With profound sadness, we say goodbye to William A. Ethier of Uxbridge, Massachusetts, born in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. William left this world on September 2, 2024 at the age of 74, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. Though William may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those William touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his wife Jean M. Ethier (Saucier); his siblings, Michael, Cathy and Marcie; and his parents, Alphonse "Bud" Ethier and Mary Ethier (McManus).
He is survived by: his children, William J. Ethier of Uxbridge and Kristine E. Ethier of Uxbridge. He is also survived by sister.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 13th 2024 from 5:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the Tancrell-Jackman Funeral Home (35 Snowling Rd, Uxbridge, MA 01569). The military honors was held on Monday, September 16th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Massachusetts National Cemetery.
