He is survived by: his wife Brenda C. Zylstra (Roorda); his children, Bethany Duffield (Andrew) of Dar, Salaam, Marielle Pitts (Marc) of Uxbridge, David Zylstra (Jennifer) of Deerfield Beach, FL and Jonathan Zylstra (Alison) of Uxbridge; his siblings, Wilma Vellenga, Trudy Vriesma, Grace Olsen, Luke Zylstra and Terri Van Pelt; and his grandchildren, Brady, Jacob, Ella, Malaika, Santiago, Micah, Samuel and Theodore. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
