He was predeceased by: his son Bruce Bedard; his granddaughter Samantha Bedard-Hawk; his brothers, William, James and John Bedard; and his parents, Arthur and Jeannette Bedard (Couteau).
He is survived by: his wife Joan M. Bedard (Perkins); his sons, Gregory Bedard (Cheryl) of Uxbridge and Steven Bedard (Christine) of Uxbridge; his grandchildren, Matthew Bedard, Jennifer Bedard and Robert Bedard; his great grandchild Bentley Bedard; and his siblings, Richard Bedard of Florida and Kathleen Conway of Sandwich. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
