He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph L. Hale and Catherine Hale (Cormie); his son Steven Hale; and his brothers, Edward, Leon, Fred, Charlie and Alan.
He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline Hale (Conant); his sons, John Hale of Turners Falls and Daniel Hale (Melisa Prescott) of Greenfield; his grandchildren, Meghan Marie Hale, Daniel "Danny" Hale, Victoria Farnham and Chelsea Farnham; his siblings, David Hale of Conway, Louise Spondre of Florida, Margaret Cowan of Montague and Linda Charest of Warwick; and his nephew James Hale of Northfield.
