He was predeceased by: his wife Sylvia "Taffy" Barnes (Aubrey); his parents, Bernice Vlach (Dubreuil) and Rudy Vlach; and his brother Bruce Barnes. He is survived by: his children, Tracy Miller (Brian) of Turners Falls, Samantha Winchester of Chesterfield, NH, Melissa Wilder (David) of Wendell, David Fisher (Erin Stacy) of Montague and Richard Fisher (Raven Torrey) of Brattleboro, VT.; and his grandchildren, Amanda Vigue, Breanna, Brittany Miller, Pember Kirkwood, Drew, Matt Winchester, Ashley, Morgan, Cameron, Keagan Fisher, Victoria Meuse, Aaron Richardson, Nicole and Trae Fisher.
