He was predeceased by: his parents, Jalmer Kujala and Lillian Kujala (Jutila); his wife Caroline Bukoski; his daughter Grace Kujala; and his siblings, Ruthie and Billy.
He is survived by: his sons, Mathew of Turners Falls and Michael (Kimberly) of St. Albans, VT; his sister Marlene Romback (Reuven) of Negaunee, MI; and his close friend Maureen Steiner (Memphis Mae). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
