He was predeceased by: his wife Genevieve; and his siblings, Sophie Sojka, Helen Czarnechi, Joseph and Chester.
He is survived by: his parents, Joseph Galvis and Anna Galvis (Worek); his children, Mark and Jaqueline; and his sisters-in-law, Constance Galvis, Charlotte Choleva and Mary Choleva. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and his beloved cat Mickie who Jackie promised her dad.
