With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ernest Chagnon Jr. of Turners Falls, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 30, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Messier Funeral Home (1944 Northampton St, Holyoke, MA 01040). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Forestdale Cemetery (210 Rock Valley Rd, Holyoke, MA 01040).
Memorial donations may be made in Ernest's memory to the Parkinson's Foundation or Lewy body Dementia.
