With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Donald J. LaPierre of Turners Falls, Massachusetts, born in Portland, Maine, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Donald left this world on November 3, 2024 at the age of 93, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank LaPierre and Phyllis LaPierre. He is survived by: his wife Rita; his sister Virginia Cragin of South Portland; his children, Jeanne LaPierre (Karen Wakayama) of Connecticut and David LaPierre (Diane Elenbaas) of Virginia; and his grandchildren, Naomi, Nathan, Benjamin and Nora.
A reception was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Our Lady of Peace Church (90 7th St, Turners Falls, MA 01376). A burial was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024.
