He was predeceased by: his parents, Corneilus Bannister and Ada Bannister (McPhail); his wife Jeri (Geraldine); his daughter Tara; and his brothers, Eric and George.
He is survived by: his daughter Colleen; his nieces and nephews, Killian, Orla, Siobhán, Donal, Nigel, Yvette and Monique; and also Moonshine. He is also survived by his many brothers and sisters in law.
