He was predeceased by: his mother Patricia M. O'Brien; and his cousins, Michael Aukstikalnis and Joanie Aukstikalnis-Connors. He is survived by: his father Robert F. Bassett; his siblings, Jason Bassett (Kerry Hammond) of Northfield, Renae Cobb (Zac) and Lynn McConnell (Lucas); his nieces, Rylan of Texas and Zoe Cobb of Texas; his cousin Steven Matthews of Turners Falls; his stepfather Bruce Pollard of Turners Falls; his aunt Theresa O'Brien Aukstikalnis of Winchester, NH; and his cousins, John, Jeanie, Tony, Danny, Timmy and Chris. He is also survived by numerous other extended family and friends.
