It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Alberta G. Riel of Turners Falls, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 17, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Provost and Yvonne Provost (Pickard); her granddaughter Sonja Ellis; her siblings, Peelow, Anita, Irene, Doris, Theresa and Francis; her son-in-law Sean B. Connelly; and her brother-in-law Roger Leduc.
She is survived by: her husband George E. Riel, Jr.; her daughters, Suzanne E. Davis (John) of Turners Falls, MA, Joan E. Ellis (Ralph) of Millers Falls, MA and Amy J. Connelly of Turners Falls, MA.; her grandchildren, Patrick Davis (Julie), Katherine Davis (Angela), Lauren (Matt), Geoffrey Ellis Maureen (Bailey) and Emma Connelly; her great grandchildren, Siobhan, Cathal, Cossette, Lily, Avery, Beau and Theo; her sister Jeannette Leduc; and her brother-in-law Doug Riel (Kate). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews.
