We are sad to announce that on October 25, 2023, at the age of 70, Richard A. Butler of Townsend, Massachusetts, born in Woburn, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his brother David Butler. He is survived by: his wife Mary L. Butler (Taylor) of Townsend; his daughters, Amanda M. Meltzer (Shane) of Lyndeborough, NH and Rebekah L.; his siblings, Donald Butler of Fitchburg, William Butler (Jeannine) of Pepperell, Carol Jones (Dennis) of Lunenburg and Dianne St Peter (Ronnie) of Nashua; his sister-in-law Joanne Butler of Hollis, NH; and his grandchildren, Ezra and Miriam.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to K9 for Veterans or Leukemia/Lymphoma Society.
