With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles J. Murphy Jr. of Townsend, Massachusetts, born in Clinton, Massachusetts, who passed away on July 6, 2021 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles J., Sr. and Eleanor Murphy (Hackett); his wife Sheila R. Murphy (Gorham) of Townsend; his sons, Sean C. Murphy (Margaret S.) of Germantown, MD and Scott M. Murphy (Tracy Griffin) of Townsend; his grandchildren, Macklin S. Murphy, Margaret R. Murphy and Mikaela L. Murphy; and his siblings, Daniel J. Murphy of Townsend and Margaret J. Bennett of Ashburnham. He was also cherished by several nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association and\or the American Diabetes Association.
