She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon S. Marshall and Ruth Marshall (Morse); her husband C. Donald Peterson; and her siblings, Erving Marshall, Elaine Marshall, George Marshall, Nancy Morse and Leon Marshall.

She is survived by: her daughter Judith P. Russell (Robert) of Groton; and her grandson Donald "DJ" Russell of Groton. She is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
