With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert E. L. West (Topsfield, Massachusetts), born in Saint Marys, West Virginia. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his spouse Mary; his parent Howard West; his daughter Donna Lee Bopp; and his brother George West. He is survived by: his parent Foye West (Dotson); his son Greg West (Melissa) of Danvers; his grandchildren, Katelyn Breen (Andrew), Timothy Bopp (Michelle), Michael Devlin and Maggie Devlin; his great grandchildren, Alyssa, Lilly and Aubrey; and his significant other Ethel M. Farmer.

In lieu of flowers, Donation may be made to the Coast Guard Academy Alumni Association, 47 Mohegan Ave., New London, CT 06320-8111.
