He was predeceased by: his parents, Jackson W. Garfield and Lillian E. Garfield (Baker); his son Tyler C. Garfield of Topsfield; and his brother Conrad Garfield of Hamilton. He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Garfield (Jill); his son Todd J. Garfield (Katie) of Amesbury; his sister Melissa Stewart (Carlton) of Keene, NH; his sister-in-law Martha Garfield of Hamilton; his grandchildren, Emmett and Luciana Garfield; and his brother-in-law Gary Cowell (Joann Zepelli) of Georgetown. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
