He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry T. Whelan and Ruth M. Whelan (Saunders). He is survived by: his wife Bernadette M. (Moran); his sister Patricia Wells of Blackstone; his grandchildren, Brianna, Jarrod, Brandon, Jaime and Jake Whelan; his stepson David Gonzalez (Dawn Whelan) of Cape Coral, FL.; and his great grandchildren, Alexis and Aiden Poplawski. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
