He was predeceased by: his wife Gertrude D. Holmes (Duffy); and his parents, William V. Holmes and Honora Holmes (Powers). He is survived by: his children, Judy Holmes (Nancy Cataldo) of Littleton, Carol Holmes (Michael Eisenberg) of Melrose and Paul Holmes Jr. of Newbury, NH. He is also survived by his four grandchildren.
