Mary L. Bliss Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary L. Bliss of Tewksbury, Massachusetts, born in Stoneham, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 4, 2024, at the age of 26, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Mary Louise Lerner (Buehl), Robert Lerner and C. Michael Bliss; her great-uncle Walter M. Buehl Jr.; and her great-aunts, Ethel Welch Griggs and Ariel Welch Dickerman.
She is survived by: her parents, Charles M. Bliss and Cynthia Bliss (Lerner) of Tewksbury; her siblings, Ariel Bliss of Annandale, VA and Matthew Bliss of East Setauket, NY; her grandmother Barbara Welch Bliss of Cohasset, MA; her aunts and uncles, Susan Lerner, Marc Seidenberg of Philadelphia, PA, Daniel and Kelly Bliss of Cohasset, MA; and her pets, Tiggr and Branwell. She is also survived by aunts and uncles, cousins, second cousins, and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 29th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Concord Academy (166 Main St, Concord, MA 01742). The lack of broadcast sports during the pandemic, led her to discover European soccer, which she continued to follow closely after US sports restrictions were lifted, particularly West Ham in the Premiere League.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Mary's name to Concord Academy (please designate for financial aid), the Lowell Humane Society in Lowell MA, or Best Friends Animal Sanctuary.
