With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ligio T. DeSousa of Tewksbury, Massachusetts, who passed away on July 11, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henrique T. DeSousa and Silvina M. DeSousa (Melo); his son Danny DeSousa; his brother John DeSousa; and his sister-in-law Manuela DeSousa.
He is survived by: his close friend Honoria Waite of Lowell; his grandchildren, Ashley of Shana, T. J., Austin, Olivia, Nolan, Maya and Ella; his brothers, Henry DeSousa of Lowell, Manny DeSousa (Lasallete) of New Bedford and Tony DeSousa (Francisca) of Lowell; his sister-in-law Lizete DeSousa of Dracut; and also, Susanna McCarthy (Thomas) of Dracut, Sandra Desmarais (David) of Dracut, Shawn Machado (Jennifer) of Lowell and Stephanie Borges of Dracut. He is also survived by his great grandchildren.
