He was predeceased by: his parents, James J. Sr. Covino and Laura Covino (Cavazzoni); his wife Ruth A. (Ronan); and his friend Gerald Ardolino. He is survived by: his children, Lynn Leonard (Kevin) of Tewksbury, Jay Covino (Dawn) of Salem, NH and Lori Piracini (Rick) of Tewksbury; his grandchildren, Kevin Leonard, Christopher Leonard (Megan), Shawn Leonard (Kerri), Marc Piracini, Jessica Piracini, Allison Piracini and Cassandra Bailey (Temi); his great grandchildren, McKenzie, Abigail, Chistopher Jr., Amelia, Shawn Jr., James, Dallas, Ciara and Idalia; and his friend Linda (Jim Watts).
