He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald J. Cowan and Jean S. Cowan (Whittier); and his brother-in-law Randy. He is survived by: his wife Laraine A. Cowan (Keller); his siblings, David Cowan of The Villages, FL, Dianne Cowan of Stoneham, MA, Debbie Berquist of The Villages, FL, Jean Mazzaferro (Thomas) of Nahant, MA, Judy Cowan (Tim Jenkins) of Charlotte, NC, John Cowan of Indian Trail, NC, James Cowan and Joyce Cowan of Orlando, FL; and his siblings-in-law, Douglas (Joanne Keller), Scott (Sandy Keller), Kristine Jannini, Kenneth and Janet Keller. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
