He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Alie and Hilda Alie (Sund); his wife Ruth Alie (Nasiatka); his daughter Joyce Hanks; his sons-in-law, Mark Hanks and Richard Tanzi; and his great grandchild Jaylin Rose Johnson.
He is survived by: his children, Joanne Goguen (Clayton), James Alie (Debra) and Jackie Johnson; his grandchildren, Joshua Johnson (Ryan Lawrence), Corey Johnson (Vanessa Boudreau), Laura Clarizia (Brian), Lesley Goguen (Stacy Lucier) and Cheyenne Alie (Kyle Marshall); his great grandchildren, Jack, Jase, Joseph, Julia Johnson, Jordan, Jaxson and Julian Barnicle; his niece Betty Lynn Roberts; and his sisters, Betty Minns (Robert) and Ruth Courtemache (Edward).
