She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph B. Cardoza and Marguerite Horta (Botelho); her sons, Robert Martin, Jr. and Brian Martin; her granddaughter Amanda Martin; and her siblings, Barbara "Bunny" McCarthy, Yvonne Thibeault and Joseph "Butch" Cardoza.
She is survived by: her husband Donald Bassett; her daughter Doreen Curran (Peter); her grandchildren, Robert Martin III, Jessica Wheaton (Don) and Kelsey Borges (Michelle May); her great grandchildren, Trenton Martin, Lex Wheaton and Willow Wheaton; and her sisters, Johann Mueda and Marjorie Matthews. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
