He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald McGuire and Sheila McGuire (Gallagher); and his brother David McGuire. He is survived by: his wife Mary McGuire (Dutcher); his sister Deborah Bourget (Robert) of Taunton; his siblings-in-law, Judy, Patrick Grant of Medford and Richard Dutcher of Taunton; his nephews, Jason, Joshua Bourget of Taunton and Brian of Somerville; his niece Megan Tracy of Taunton, LJ; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Olivia Smith of Taunton, Bryce, Connor, Cora and Audrey Bourget of Taunton; and his goddaughter Tiffany Gallagher of Texas.
