He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Barrett and Eunice Barrett (Morrissey); and his brothers, Francis "Jimmy" Barrett Jr., John Barrett and Kevin Barrett.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Barrett (Leonard); his sons, Christopher Barrett (Leanne) and Patrick Barrett (Caitlyn); and his siblings, Mark Barrett, Mary Smith, Richard Barrett, Sheila Art and Patrick Barrett. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
