With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Bessette of Taunton, Massachusetts, born in Dighton, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 4, 2022. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Shirley Bessette to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Rudolph L. A. "Al" Bessette; her parents, Gilbert Stetson and Harriet Stetson (Chase); her brother Robert Stetson; and her son-in-law Elliot Lengel.
She is survived by: her children, Suzanne Bessette of Penobscot, ME, Robert Bessette (June) of Raynham, Richard Bessette (Debbie) of Carson City, NV and Ronald Bessette (Malinda) of Kemah, TX; and her sister Eleanor Peckham. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
