She was predeceased by: her husband Gilbert F. Coute, Sr. of Taunton; her parents, Joseph Smith and Alfrenda Smith (DaRosa); her brother William Smith; and her son Gilbert F. Coute, Jr..
She is survived by: her daughter Karen Dupont (Daniel) of Taunton; her daughter-in-law Pamela J. Coute of Taunton; her siblings, Joseph, Robert, Francis, Rosalie (Vowles), Mary (Costa), Clara (Lawrence) and Terresa (Ferris); her grandchildren, Danny Jr. (Holly), Michael (Stacey), Kerryn (John) and Gregory; and her great grandchildren, Jayden, Jaelyn, Bryson and Adeline. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts made to Our Lady of Lourdes School 52 1st Street, Taunton MA 02780 in Ruth's memory, would be deeply appreciated.
