He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert E. Brennan and Lorraine Brennan (Dumoulin); and his brother Paul. He is survived by: his wife Marianne; his daughter Laura; his son-in-law Matthew Mansfield of Wareham; his son Matthew; his daughter-in-law Kelley Brennan of Taunton; his grandchildren, Abigail O'Connell, Evan Mansfield, Liam O'Connell, Hailey Brennan and Hannah Brennan; his siblings, Robert, Phyllis of Sebastian, FL and Andrew; and his sister-in-law Gina Scherben. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
