Fortes; the mother of his children Sherri Osorio; his granddaughter Brooklyn Matos of New Bedford; and his siblings, Elizabeth Fortes of New Bedford, Marilyn Silveira (Antonio) of New Bedford, Joanne Corriea of New Bedford and Arnold Fortes. He is also survived by extended family and good friends.
