He is survived by: his wife Maria E. Moniz (Serodio); his children, Joe Moniz (Manuela) of Taunton and Jenny Matos (Jack) of Taunton; his grandsons, Kevin Moniz (Rachel) and Danny Correia; and his great grandchildren, Alanna Correia, Liam Moniz and Mia Moniz. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
