She was predeceased by: her father Edward P. Piechota. She is survived by: her mother Eliza C. Piechota (Gajda); her daughter-in-law Stephanie Brandao (Wilburn); and her pets, Odin, Goldie and Caleigh. She is also survived by her parents, and several aunts and uncles and is survived by several cousins.
