He was predeceased by: his parents, Owen Joseph and Helen McCarthy (Slevin); his sisters, Kay Dupont, Jean McCarthy and Isabelle Butler; and his wife Patti Ann McCarthy (Young) of Raynham.
He is survived by: his daughter Erin Jean; his son-in-law Leonard Gallego; his son Owen Charles; his daughter-in-law Ursula McCarthy II; his grandchildren, Jason (Shana), Abigail, Amelia Enos, Owen III, Alexis, Isabella and Owen JJ McCarthy; his great grandchildren, Scarlette Ray and Jenson Abel Enos; and his sisters, Ann Unger, Mary Ripley and Many. He is also survived by Many Nieces and Nephews.
