She was predeceased by: her husband Manuel A. Chaves; her parents, Bernardino Braga and Antonia Braga (Freitas); her daughter-in-law Pauline; and her grandson Joshua Chaves.
She is survived by: her children, Delzira Noun (Thomas) of Taunton, Teresa Dwyer (Brian) of Taunton, Arcenio Chaves (Terry) of Taunton, Antonio Chaves (Angela) of Middleboro, Jose Chaves (Carminha) of Berkley and Alfred Chaves. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and her beloved dog.
