In the sacred silence of farewell, Lorraine is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Lorraine's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ambrose Allen West; her parents, Manuel Amaral and Mary Amaral; her daughter Shirley M. Dyer; and her son-in-law Joe.
She is survived by: her children, Rodger Salley (Barbara), Sharon Pachak, Ambrose West Jr. (Susan), Wendy A. Guerrin and Evamarie Guillemette (Gregg). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, Her extended family includes three surviving siblings as well as many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Crapo-Hathaway Funeral Home (350 Somerset Ave, Taunton, MA 02780). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at the Mayflower Hill Cemetery (235 Broadway, Taunton, MA 02780).
