She was predeceased by: her parents, Manuel Matos and Maria Matos; and her sister Maria Matos. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Avo, Diana Freitas, Michael Moitoso, Matthew Moitoso, Nathaniel Pereira and Trever Pereira; her brothers, Humberto, Tomas, Manuel, Jose, Jorge and Alfredo Matos; and her husband Orlando. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 12th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Crapo-Hathaway Funeral Home (350 Somerset Ave, Taunton, MA 02780). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, September 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Anthony's Church (126 School St, Taunton, MA 02780). A burial was held on Thursday, September 12th 2024 at the St. Joseph Cemetery (475 E Britannia St, Taunton, MA 02780).
In lieu of flowers, Laura's family would appreciate donations made in her name to the Diocese of Fall River Television Mass program, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or a charity of one's choice.
