We are sad to announce that on April 20, 2024, at the age of 80, Joseph W. Tompkins of Taunton, Massachusetts, born in Brockton, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife June C. Tompkins (Landry); his son Kevin Hamblin; and his siblings, Lorraine Murphy and Thomas Tompkins. He is survived by: his children, Annette Tompkins of Acushnet, William Hamblin of Wareham, David Hamblin (Cheryl) of Forestdale, Peter Hamblin (Kaitlin) of Middleboro and Todd Hamblin (Jane) of Kingston; and his siblings, Robert Tompkins of Attleboro and Bernice Savage of Kentucky.

Memorial donations may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project P.O. Box 7585 Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516.
