It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph M. Garda of Taunton, Massachusetts, who passed away on November 2, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Garda (Gene) and Victoria M. Garda. He is survived by: his brother Thomas P. Garda; his sister-in-law Sharon; his sister Lois Caverly; his nephews, Louis (Fawne) of Encinitas, CA and Martin Caverly (Courtney); his great-nephews, Bray and Grant Caverly; and his great-niece Gillian of Pacific Palisades, CA.. He is also survived by many cousins and fine neighbors.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Bristol County Aggie High School scholarship program in Dighton, MA, reflecting Joseph's commitment to agricultural education. Alternatively, contributions can be made to The National Kidney Foundation or The Morton Hospital Foundation, organizations close to his heart.
