He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Araujo and Anna Araujo (Sousa); his brother Manuel Araujo; and his nephew Johnny Medeiros. He is survived by: his siblings, Deolinda Dos Santos, John Medeiros, Peter Medeiros and Beatrice Leite; and his niece Maria Rose Serodeo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
