He was predeceased by: his wife Bertha DaCosta (Rezendes); his siblings, Joao Costa of Fall River, Gilherme DaCosta of Taunton and Manuel Costa of New Bedford; his parents, Manuel DaCosta and Angelina Verisimo DaCosta; and also Maria Sousa of Ontario, Canada..
He is survived by: his siblings, Joe Costa of Ontario and Gloria Claudio of Sao Miguel, Azores.; his children, Gil F. DaCosta (Kristine) of Taunton, James DaCosta (Samantha) of Lakeville, Joseph DaCosta of Taunton and Ann Marie Cosmo (William) of Taunton; his grandchildren, Jessica, Nathan, Kathleen, Brandon, Alissa, Eden Marie and Derren; and his great grandchildren, Logan, Mathew and Kiernan. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and beloved family members.
