He was predeceased by: his wife Yvonne Murphy (Morin); his parents, Joseph Murphy and Lucy Murphy (Wade); and his sister Louise Gentile. He is survived by: his sons, Eugene "Geno" Murphy Jr. (Michele Petersen) of Brewster, Joseph Murphy of Hyannis and Richard Murphy of Taunton; his brother William Murphy of Burlington; and his grandchildren, Don Petelelle-Murphy of Orleans, Tia Petelelle-Murphy of New Zealand and John Walsh of New Jersey.
