He was predeceased by: his stepdaughter Dawn O'Toole; his brother Michael F. Poirier; and his parents, Henri Poirier and Dagmar Poirier (Elkholm). He is survived by: his wife Kathleen "Kay" E. Poirier (Kane); his sons, Christopher Poirier (Mary), Daniel Poirier of Taunton and Stephen Poirier; his stepchildren, Jimmy Homer of Walpole, Edward Homer of Medfield, Kathleen Fournier of Franklin, John Homer and Ellen Homer; and his brother Peter Poirier (Irene) of Norwood. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
