It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward P. Tavares of Taunton, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 26, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Tavares and Mary Tavares (Fontes). He is survived by: his wife Valerie Tavares (Rose); his children, Christine Ryan (Jeffrey) and Edward P. Tavares, Jr. (Jen); his grandchildren, Caitlin Ryan, Dalton Ryan and Emily Tavares; and his siblings, Joseph Tavares, William Tavares, Louise Silvia, Dorothy Ambrozio, Shirley Nicolan and James Tavares.

Per family request, facial coverings and social distancing are required at the funeral home at all times.
