He is survived by: his wife Maria Ines (Cabral) of Sousa; his children, Sonia Rego (Dennis) of Berkley and Danny Soares (Jaime) of East Taunton; his grandchildren, Joshua Rego, Nicholas Rego and Mia Soares; and his siblings, Margarida Soares of Canada and Nelia Cabral of Canada. He is also survived by many brothers and sisters-in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
