It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edna Mitton of Taunton, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 21, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Edna Mitton to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Manuel Dias and Ellen Dias (Duarte); and her grandson Joshua Mitton. She is survived by: her husband Gerald Mitton; and her children, Stephen Mitton (Pearl), Mary Ellen Bagwell (late Dick), James Mitton, Timothy Mitton (Paula) and Elizabeth Beaudoin (Rob). She is also survived by her 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren; and also countless nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Silva Funeral Home (80 Broadway, Taunton, MA 02780). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 8:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Andrew the Apostle Church (19 Kilmer Ave, Taunton, MA 02780).
