He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude R. Simmons and Emma Simmons (Murphy); and his brother Robert. He is survived by: his daughter Jamie Lynn Meehan; his granddaughter Tayla McCormack of Rochester; his siblings, Shirley Ferreira of Middleboro, Frederick Simmons (Janice) of Taunton, Francis Simmons (Judy) of Taunton, Paul, Leo, Russell, George, Edward Simmons and Gregory Simmons; and his goddaughter Michele Ferreira of Middleboro. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
